Good location but hotel is ok at best. Most things are pretty dated and in need of work and paint. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lobby looks dated and was not so clean. Room was dated. Bed was slanted and not so comfortable. The hallways are also rundown. There are much better choices in the area.

Do not believe the bad reviews this place is fantastic and the staff is even better. Upon check-in, I was nervous after reading some horrible reviews we walked through the lobby and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff is really what makes this place shine. Dominique couldn’t have been nicer. We had three rooms checking in as a quick stop traveling to New York City. She offered our family vouchers for breakfast and Starbucks, and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Our rooms were beautiful and clean. They are very charming different than any other property. Do yourself a favor and don’t believe the negative reviews.

This hotel has always been a favorite and I call it home in New York. Ryavon, Vincent and Annette greeted me with smiles and welcomed me back upon arriving for a weekend stay. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the common areas were very well kept. My room was comfortable and clean. It has been my experience that Paul, the manager, goes above and beyond to provide his guests an exceptional stay; if not, he is always willing to work to make things right. Clearly Paul provides a nice environment because his team has always presented as happy and helpful.

The front desk was nice but the problems are with the rooms.. first one we got into the air conditioning kept making loud noises and wouldn't stop blowing so they had to get an engineer upstairs to fix it. Was unable to fix. Had to move rooms to the next room over but I was getting ready for an affair. So I had to rush and move rooms reset up. Then when we came home that night the air conditioning unit has a blue flashing light all night long. It hits right into your eyes if you turn over. Very very annoying. The room was clean. The breakfast of buffet at 9:30 a.m. was almost completely empty the French toast was stale and almost no sausage and eggs. The cost of breakfast if you don't get free is $20 a person. Please don't spend the money and go somewhere else.

Amanda is a total gem she always makes feel welcomed and right at home she’s a total sweetheart when I arrive she provides excellent hospitality she checks me in and she always gives me a nice room the hotel is spotless the breakfast id very good the staff that restaurant in the lobby are professional and attentive this is my favorite hotel in Tarrytown.
